Dear Reader Books + Stationery
A carefully curated collection of books and stationery on Main Street in Wyckoff for readers who value craft and character.
Allie opened Dear Reader with the idea that every book should feel like a small discovery. The shelves hold titles chosen for their lasting quality rather than their passing popularity. Inside, the air carries the scent of paper and ink, and the light falls across wood tables arranged for quiet browsing. Handwritten cards rest beside each display, offering quiet suggestions without pressure. Customers often arrive for a single title and leave with a notebook, a pen, and the name of a book they had not planned to meet. The shop exists as a record of one reader’s taste extended outward, inviting others to add their own pages to the story.
Each week new arrivals are selected with the same attention given to older volumes. Gift wrapping uses kraft paper and twine, finished with a small card. Special orders are placed without minimums, and book clubs meet in the back room on select evenings. Stationery lines include fountain-pen friendly paper and limited-run prints. Every purchase is wrapped by hand.
